Library

The Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning has at its disposal a large special collection of literature on higher education, higher education research and higher education and science policy.

The collected literature (about 27,000 sets of data) includes monographs, articles from periodicals and newspapers, “grey literature”, brochures, publications and compilations of laws and other legal regulations and university calendars.

The major part of the library’s collection is documented in the database FAUST and can be searched using different criteria. On demand, literature searches can be accomplished for external interested researchers.

The library of the IHF is a reference library and can also be used by non-members of the institute upon advance notification by phone.
